How Do I Know my order has been accepted and being processed
All orders placed on the Skinny Wrists website are confirmed with an email or SMS depending on your selected preference at check out. We may also call you regarding your order. If you haven't received an order confirmation email, please get in touch with us. All orders placed on our website are subject to acceptance and availability, we reserve the right to decline any order.
How Long Does An Order Take To Arrive?
We aim to deliver all jewellery orders which are handmade by us in our workshop within 3-7 days. If you require something urgently contact us to discuss having your order fast tracked.
How To Return My Items?
Personalised, bespoke and stamped items cannot be returned. Earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Skinny Wrists Jewellery is made by hand, each piece is individual and therefore each piece will slightly differ from the images shown on the website. Until the item reaches us, it remains the responsibility of the customer. We recommend returning the item via a tracked delivery service as we cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost in the post, in the case of lost items in the post you will have to contact the delivery provider you used to make a claim.
Items must be returned in a perfect condition, unworn and inside all the original packaging. Once we receive the item back with us, we will process a refund within 7 working days, excluding the postage costs. We are not responsible for the time in which your bank may take to process the refund money back into your account once we have issued it. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Habitat accepts the following payment methods for online purchases:

How Can I Track My Order?
Once you place your order online, you will receive updates via email or sms including your tracking number once dispatched. If you don't receive this please contact us
MY ITEM HAS NOT ARRIVED
Once an order has been dispatched via Royal Mail you should receive a confirmation shipping email. Your order can be tracked here royalmail.com Very occasionally items may be delayed by postal services, particularly during peak times such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day etc. Please be assured we will dispatch the item in time but unfortunately have no control or are able to influence the postal system in any way. Please be patient if this is the case and keep tracking the item via the Royal Mail website and allow upto 2 weeks for your notification with tracking before letting us know. Please bare in mind some pieces are made to order although we do stock a lot of our designs we hand make our jewellery so certain pieces such as the rings and gemstone items will be made for your specifications, if you select special delivery on these items we will automatically fast track your order but can not guarantee they will be made the same day for next day delivery.

Can I personalise an item at a later date?
Of course, some of our personalised jewellery items including the popular Russian Twist, bangles and rings can be purchased blank for personalisations to be added at a future date.
Where can I put my personalisation?
If you need to add ring sizes or personalisations and can not see a box for this you can add this in the notes section at checkout
How long will my personalised jewellery order take?
Our products are handmade therefore depending on the design, production times vary. Usually we can make things quickly for you 5 -7 days but if you need something sooner just let the team know!
Alterations & Jewellery Maintenance
I have ordered the wrong size ring, chain or bangle, can these be altered?
If you have ordered the wrong size please let us know immediately and we will exchange this for you within 7 days for free. Anything after 7 days will incur and alteration charge. If an incorrect chain length has been ordered and the chain is unworn, please return the chain to our workshop address with your order details, including telephone number and the correct chain length required. We will arrange a refund or additional payment if necessary.
The black finish has worn off my item, can it be re-applied?
The black finish is a by-product of the polishing process and leaves the letters with a black fill (this can wear away over time). It contrasts the hand-stamping against the sterling silver to give the text more clarity. If you purchased your item less than two months ago and the black has worn away, we will be happy to reapply it for you.
My silver item has begun to tarnish, what can I do?
Silver can be affected by elements such as exposure to water, heat, chlorine, chemicals found in body products/perfumes etc. and different skin types, especially during the summer months. Using a polishing cloth will remove the tarnish. If your piece has come in to contact with a harsher chemical such as cleaning products we can polish this for you to remove the tarnish
